Due to previous trauma to the teeth, Juan’s central incisors (front two teeth) were failing and began developing external root resorption.  The best long-term treatment option for these teeth was extraction and tooth replacement.

Following tooth removal, two titanium dental implants were placed.

At the time of implant placement surgery, Dr Franck Page also underwent treatment for guided tissue regeneration to address any foundation bone or soft tissue defects. This ensured the best restorative outcome, functionally and aesthetically.  After implant placement, temporary teeth were delivered immediately on the day, and left in place for over 3-4 months during the osseointegration process (healing phase and allowing implants to integrate into the jawbone).

Once the osseointegration phase is complete and we are ready to start planning the final restorations, Dr. Franck Page will spend time developing the soft tissues, a pivotal part of the treatment process known as ‘soft tissue manipulation’.

This ensures that the soft tissues are moulded into a shape that reflects the original architecture and will be sculpted perfectly around the final restoration.

The final implant restorations were fabricated and loaded onto the titanium dental implants.

The final restorative outcome for Juan was achieved with two implant-supported crowns with layered Zirconia porcelain, curating a natural-looking result enhancing both function and overall aesthetics of his smile
