Tissue Graft & Implant

After

This patient had fractured his upper front left tooth in an accident. As the tooth had a very deep fracture and it was not restorable, I decided to extract it and place an implant immediately in its position. To create a more aesthetic and natural look I performed a hard and also connective tissue graft simultaneously with the implant placement. At the same appointment a provisional implant crown was also delivered to help sculpt the soft tissues. The patient didn’t want to have any of the neighbouring teeth touched or treated and wanted this replacement implant crown to fit as best as possible to the existing gap. After a successful healing period for the implant and graft a permanent zirconia all ceramic implant crown was manufactured to best fit among the remaining of the patients natural teeth and fully address the patients aesthetic and functional demands.
