Meet Dr Jhoan Guerrero Gomez

Dr Guerrero is currently a second-year resident in the Prosthodontics specialty program at The University of Queensland, where he is further developing his expertise in complex restorative and implant dentistry.

Having lived in Perth, Hobart, and now the Gold Coast, Jhoan has embraced life across Australia. Some patients may recognise him from his previous work at CDC Burleigh Waters. Prior to practising as a dentist, he also worked as a dental technician, giving him valuable insight into the technical aspects of dentistry behind the scenes.

Dr Guerrero enjoys dentistry for its unique combination of science, precision, and patient interaction. He is known for his friendly, kind, and empathetic approach, always taking the time to listen carefully and ensure his patients feel comfortable and well-informed.

He has a particular interest in crown and bridge work, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry, and is passionate about educating patients on maintaining optimal oral health. He is proud to be part of the Dental Implants and Aesthetics team and values working in a modern, state-of-the-art practice.

Outside of dentistry, Jhoan enjoys an active lifestyle. He can often be found at the beach, hiking throughout Queensland and New South Wales, or starting his day early at the gym.
