Meet Dr Alex Marino

Originally from Bathurst, Dr Alex developed a strong sense of community and care early in life, deeply rooted in his upbringing in a close-knit town. His passion for dentistry has taken him on an exciting and unique journey, marked by his dedication to helping others and providing excellent dental care. Alex’s career began with volunteer work in Cambodia, where he provided essential dental services to underserved communities. This formative experience honed his clinical skills and ignited a more profound commitment to making dental care accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances.

After returning to Australia, Alex continued to serve in regional New South Wales, working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). This role enabled him to reach remote areas, delivering much-needed dental care to populations with limited access to healthcare. These experiences significantly shaped his perspective, reinforcing his mission to offer compassionate, patient-centred treatment to all.

Dr Alex is pursuing postgraduate specialist training in Periodontics at the University of Queensland. His academic journey focuses on advanced non-surgical periodontal treatment, where he combines precision techniques with a research-backed approach to ensure the best outcomes for his patients. Dr Alex’s commitment to long-term oral health and wellness is evident in his personalized treatment plans, designed to meet each patient’s unique needs while promoting sustainable, healthy habits.

Dr Alex is an avid ultra-marathon runner and high-altitude hiking enthusiast outside the dental clinic. His adventures, often shared with his partner Yasmine, reflect his determination and love for pushing boundaries. Whether scaling peaks or tackling long-distance trails, Alex brings the same energy and drive to his pursuits as he does to his professional life, always eager to explore new horizons and embrace new challenges.
