Professor Vasilios Chronopoulos, DDS, MS, PhD, is a Specialist Prosthodontist with more than 30 years of clinical experience in advanced restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry with a focus on precision, function, and long-term results.
Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive approach to patient care, he combines extensive clinical expertise with a strong background in research and education. His work is centred on delivering highly functional, natural-looking, and long-term restorative outcomes tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Professor Chronopoulos graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens before completing his specialist training in Prosthodontics at Marquette University in the United States. In addition to his clinical qualifications, he holds both a Master’s degree and a PhD in Dental Biomaterials, providing him with advanced scientific expertise in restorative materials, biomechanics, and contemporary dental technologies.
Throughout his distinguished academic and clinical career, Professor Chronopoulos has held teaching and leadership positions at universities across multiple countries and continents. He is internationally recognised for his contribution to prosthodontics, implant dentistry, and restorative rehabilitation, and is regularly invited to lecture worldwide by universities and professional organisations. His commitment to education has seen him extensively involved in postgraduate specialist training programs, where he has mentored and trained dentists undertaking specialist prosthodontic education.
